At our Montreux summer camp, every detail is meticulously crafted to ensure learners have the best summer of their lives.

An impressive selection of academic and sports options are available, giving learners the chance to gain valuable language, communication and physical abilities. Our dedicated team of experienced staff brings top credentials and elevates learning provision in languages, public speaking and debating, computer programming and STEAM subjects. Outstanding professionals and coaches work tirelessly to develop our campers' unique interests and talents in football, tennis and mountain and lake activities.

Our summer camps in Montreux are packed full of thrilling excursions and optional activities – from Aqua Park visits and paragliding to museum trips, helicopter rides and hiking on Moleson and Mont Blanc on the weekends.

Learners aged 8 to 16 can choose to attend Day Camps on weekdays or stay overnight at our premium boarding facilities as Residential campers. We also offer Nano and Mega Camps for children aged 4 to 8 who wish to explore a world of wonder. 

Summer Camp Options


Our summer camps in Montreux are packed full of fun and learning opportunities for learners aged 4 to 16. The youngest explorers are Nano and Mega campers, who enjoy on-campus learning and outdoor activities tailored to their development needs and age groups. Learners in our Junior and Senior Camps build their own programme by choosing one morning and one afternoon activity, allowing them to develop their creativity, experience challenges and grow as individuals.

There are three sessions of our 2025 Nano and Mega Camps: 

  • Session 1: 30 June to 11 July 
  • Session 2: 14 to 25 July 
  • Session 3: 28 July to 8 August  

The three sessions of our 2025 Junior and Senior Camps are: 

  • Session 1: 29 June to 12 July 
  • Session 2: 13 to 26 July

Nano/mega camps
 

Nano and Mega Camp


Ages 4 to 7

Our Nano and Mega Camps in Montreux use hands-on challenges and activities to build confidence and promote key skills. We explore weekly themes related to nature and the environment, promoting outdoor learning and curiosity. Through nature exploration and group challenges, learners gain teamwork, communication, leadership and independent-thinking skills. Activities are held between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
 
Nano campers (aged 4 to 5) enjoy on-campus sessions like cooking, arts and crafts, French, STEAM and multisport, as well as nature walks, museum visits, swimming pool games, zoo trips, amusement park visits and more. In Mega Camp (for learners aged 6 to 7), students take part in a stimulating and holistic learning experience that includes thrilling activities like acrobranching and rock climbing, alongside organised sports such as tennis and football. Each week features special themes related to nature and the environment, fostering curiosity and connecting campers with the natural world.

Language Immersion in Our Summer Camp


Our Summer Camp in Montreux offers plenty of engaging language-learning opportunities, whether in English, French or other languages. 

Junior and Senior campers with advanced English skills build greater competence and develop into skilled communicators in our expert-led Public Speaking & Debating programme. Our Languages options are ideal for students learning French or English, building confidence in reading, writing, listening and speaking.

English immersion is further ensured given that it is the main language of instruction at our camp; however, we are proud to foster an international setting where students of different nationalities meet and interact in class and in their rooms, and experienced staff who speak many different languages.

Thrilling Excursions at Our Summer Camp


Students aged 8 to 16 enjoy weekday excursions to apply what they have learned in a real-world environment, while also exploring some of Switzerland’s top attractions. In the past, learners have embarked on exhilarating cultural tours and trips to museums in Geneva and Sion, Chocolate and Cheese Factories in and around Gruyere and Lucerne Transport Museum, one of the best museums in Switzerland.

Those attending Residential Camp go on weekend excursions as well. Offering a unique opportunity to discover and interact with the environment around Switzerland or France, our camp in Montreux provides extra activities and expeditions led by experienced guides or instructors. Options include hiking and cable car trips around Moleson and Mont Blanc, water-based fun at Aqua Park, exploring Lac Souterrain, the largest navigable underground lake in Europe, and more.

Learners at our Junior and Senior Camps in Montreux choose from exciting optional activities designed to enrich their experience, including unique and extraordinary 5-star experiences in the Swiss Alps.  

The Heli Experience takes learners aged 8 to 16 on a scenic helicoper flight where they will get to explore the unforgettable beauty of the lake and mountains.

The breathtaking Paragliding Experience lets campers aged 12 to 16 soar through the clouds and take in the incredible lake and mountain views of the Alps.

Nestled in a stunning 5-star lakeside location, our school has a cutting-edge 12-acre campus boasting excellent learning facilities for elite sports and leisure activities – from an onsite fitness suite to a large indoor sports hall, expansive lounge area, multipurpose courts and an adventure playground with zip lines. Campers explore their unique interests and unlock their potential in rock climbing, canyoning, sailing and more.

How to Register For Our Summer Camp


  1. Complete the application form by clicking on ‘Enrol Now’ below. You will need to upload a photograph of the applicant's passport and/or valid Schengen visa, so please have those ready. 
  2. Once your application has been received, we will issue you with an invoice; to secure a place, please arrange payment within 10 working days (for day campers) or 30 days (for boarding campers). 
  3. When we have received your payment, we will send you an acceptance letter and a Welcome Pack. 
  4. You may need to apply for a Schengen visa at your local Swiss Embassy.

FAQs

All our campers are housed in the St. George’s International School Boarding House. They will share a room with 1-3 other campers. Single rooms are available on request.

Yes. Upon arrival, all campers will be given a laundry bag for their dirty linens, which will be washed by our housekeeping team once a week.

No. Bed sheets and bath towels are provided; however, we ask that your child bring their own towel for sports/water activities.

This is an all-inclusive camp. However, during the camp, your child will have the opportunity to go paragliding, which comes at an additional cost.

Our closest airport is Geneva, which is an hour from St. George’s. Your child will be met at the airport by our staff who will chaperone them to the campus.

We have around 10 students per language class.

Campers may choose one morning and one afternoon option from the following:  

  • Morning options: French or English; STEAM; Public Speaking & Debating; Coding & Computing. 
  • Afternoon options: Tennis; Lake & Mountain; Football.

From Monday to Friday, our days are equally split: academics take place in the morning and sporting activities are run in the afternoons. During the two-week camp, students will enjoy 30 hours of academics and 30 hours of sports. Those who are staying overnight with us will also benefit from excursions and weekend activities.

All campers will need to bring swimwear, sports clothes, a waterproof raincoat and durable mountain shoes. Tennis students will require tennis shoes (our courts are clay and hard). We will provide all sports’ equipment and send a list of what else students should bring with them before camp starts.

We recommend students budget 50 CHF per week. Campers have a private safe in their rooms. Alternatively, boarding staff can look after it for them and give out certain amounts when required.

Yes. We have a qualified nurse onsite, so help is always available if it is required.

Yes. Classes and rooms are a mix of nationalities to ensure the international feel of the camp. If you wish for particular campers to share a room, please let us know.
