Boarders at St. George's making new friends

We've had a busy second week of term.  After-school clubs have started, the Boarders are making new friends and exploring what Boarding has to offer, and our weekend activities are well underway!

The sports hall is always popular in the evenings, particularly with our basketball and badminton players.  The common room is a hub for activities such as Uno or Jenga, and with the nice weather continuing, the outside space on campus is extremely popular in the evenings too!

The Boarders' vegetable & flower garden has been a great success, and over the summer it flourished for us to return to an amazing harvest of tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers! We clearly have some green fingered Boarders and we are planning to plant more over this coming year!

On Wednesday Star and Hugo performed in the Y12 lunchtime concert.  Their performances were amazing, we really do have some very talented musicians amongst our Boarders!  Well done Star & Hugo.

On Sunday the boarders went to the Parc Aventure in Aigle for some fun in the trees!  Everyone had a go, even those who were sceptical and nervous to start with. It was great to see the Boarders helping each other out, showing great teamwork and team spirit!
