Another week has gone by at St. George's the end of which we enjoyed a sunny weekend of Halloween activities and celebrations.

The activities were supervised by some of our boarding monitors who also chose the Halloween dinner of 'black bun' burgers and fries. They chose the winners of the pumpkin competition and hosted the prize giving which was followed by a wonderful concert during which Tony and Honghao gave outstanding performances on the piano and Eddie sang.
Karen and Sofiya had organised the common room decorations and had Yago, Honghao, Beny, Eddie and Cristina helping set it up beautifully on Thursday night.

Friday night we ran a pumpkin carving competition which was great fun. The winners, announced during our Saturday night evening programme, were 1st place Kostia, 2nd place Amelia and 3rd place Emily & Egor.

On Sunday afternoon boarding monitors Hannah and Karen decided to organise a hike and a group of boarders went to do the Chemin des Narcisses around Les Avants. No narcissi (daffodils) this time of year but wonderful colours and views!
