Ski area
Verbier – 4 Vallées
One of Switzerland’s most iconic ski destinations, Verbier offers access to more than 400 km of slopes across the 4 Vallées. From gentle, confidence-building runs for developing skiers to challenging terrain, freeride areas and advanced slopes, the resort offers exceptional variety for all levels. Its spectacular alpine scenery, vibrant atmosphere and world-class infrastructure make Verbier a true highlight of the Winter Camp.
Leysin
With its wide, accessible pistes and relaxed atmosphere, Leysin is an excellent choice for younger and intermediate skiers. The resort offers a modern lift system, varied terrain and spectacular views across Lake Geneva and the surrounding Alps. Leysin is also the setting for some of our favourite evening activities, including tobogganing and night sledging.
Villars
Combining traditional alpine charm with excellent skiing facilities, Villars is particularly well suited to beginners and intermediate skiers. Its well-groomed slopes, scenic surroundings and accessible terrain provide an enjoyable environment in which to develop skiing skills and confidence. Its sunny location and proximity to Montreux also make it a popular destination with our campers and instructors.
Portes du Soleil
Stretching across the Swiss-French border, the Portes du Soleil is one of the largest ski areas in the world, with more than 600 km of pistes. Its exceptional variety of terrain allows skiers of all levels to explore different resorts and landscapes within a single day. For our campers, it offers a fantastic sense of adventure, discovery and variety.
Crans-Montana – Weather Dependent
Located high above the Rhône Valley, Crans-Montana is renowned for its panoramic views, wide sunny slopes and varied terrain. The resort offers excellent skiing for different ability levels, together with freestyle areas and more challenging sections for advanced skiers. Depending on snow and weather conditions, Crans-Montana may be included as an additional or alternative skiing destination during the week.
Accommodation
Participants will be accommodated at St. George’s International School, situated on the hillside above Montreux with spectacular views over Lake Geneva. The campus provides a safe, welcoming and comfortable home base, conveniently located within easy reach of several of Switzerland’s leading ski resorts.
Campers stay in comfortable, well-equipped rooms on campus, with 24-hour supervision from experienced staff. The school offers dedicated activity spaces and communal areas where students can relax and socialise after a day in the mountains. All meals are served on campus, providing a convenient and welcoming environment throughout the week.
With its combination of comfortable accommodation, outstanding facilities and easy access to a variety of ski areas, St. George’s provides the ideal base for an unforgettable Winter Camp experience.
