A Winter Adventure

Experience the thrill of winter like never before with the St. George's International School Winter Camp 2026! From February 14th to 21st, 2026, join us in Montreux for an unforgettable week of snowy adventures in the heart of the Swiss Alps.

Whether you're an advanced skier looking to join our freeride or racing groups, or a beginner or intermediate skier eager to build your confidence, this camp offers tailored experiences for all levels. Each day, participants will ski in top Swiss resorts such as Verbier, Villars, Leysin, and Portes du Soleil, depending on the conditions.

Beyond skiing, our evening programme is packed with excitement—from bowling and laser tag to tobogganing in Leysin and night sledging in Villars. There's never a dull moment!

Open to students aged 8–16 (day) and 10–16 (residential), this week is your chance to carve your path through the Alps, make new friends, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Winter Camp at a glance:

For students aged 10 to 16 years (residential) and 8 to 16 years (day camp)
6 full days of skiing across top Swiss resorts (Verbier, Villars, Leysin, Portes du Soleil)

Logistics:

Arrival: Saturday, February 14th, 2026 – Check-in from 09:00 to 11:00
- Optional early arrival on Friday, February 13th available for international students upon request
Skiing Days: Saturday afternoon (equipment rental & light skiing) through Friday, February 20th
Departure: Saturday, February 21st, 2026 – Pick-up in the morning or optional airport transfer in the afternoon (CHF 200.-)

Verbier – 4 Vallées

One of Switzerland’s most iconic ski destinations, Verbier offers over 400 km of slopes across the 4 Vallées. With terrain for every level—from gentle beginner runs to thrilling off-piste zones—it’s a paradise for skiers of all abilities. Stunning views, a dynamic mountain atmosphere, and world-class infrastructure make it a highlight of the camp.

Leysin

Perfect for younger and intermediate skiers, Leysin combines wide open pistes with a friendly, laid-back feel. The resort features a modern lift system, snow parks, and fun slopes with beautiful views over Lake Geneva and the Alps. Villars

A family-friendly resort with charming alpine character, Villars offers well-groomed slopes for beginners and intermediates, plus scenic trails and excellent ski schools. Its sunny exposure and easy accessibility make it a favorite among our campers and instructors alike.

Portes du Soleil

This massive cross-border ski domain connects Switzerland and France, offering a vast playground of over 600 km of pistes. The terrain suits all levels, and campers love the chance to explore multiple resorts in one day. It’s an ideal destination for variety and discovery.

Crans-Montana (Optional or weather-dependent)

Crans-Montana is known for its wide, sunny slopes and breathtaking views over the Rhône Valley. The resort features areas for all levels, as well as freestyle zones and advanced sections perfect for training. Its excellent snow conditions and relaxed ambiance make it a great backup or bonus destination when conditions allow.

Housing

Participants will be accommodated at St. George’s International School, located in the beautiful hillside of Montreux overlooking Lake Geneva. The school campus provides a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment, with modern boarding facilities just a short drive from multiple top ski resorts.

Campers will stay in cosy, well-equipped rooms on campus, with 24/7 supervision by experienced staff, dedicated activity spaces, and communal areas to relax after a day on the slopes. All meals are served on-site, and the school’s secure and scenic setting ensures a perfect home base for our winter adventures.
