How to Enrol
We are delighted that you are considering enrolling your children at St. George's, one of the most prestigious private schools in Switzerland.
Step 1: Enquiry
Submit an Enquiry Form. Once submitted, you will then be directed to create an account in our Admissions Portal, where you can share additional details about your child.
Step 2: Visit
After the enquiry is completed, we invite each prospective pupil and their family to visit the school for a tour, and to meet with the Principal and the Admissions Team. During the visit, the pupilpupil and their family will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about St. George’s International School. We understand that it is not always possible for a family relocating from abroad to visit the school in-person. In such cases, an online meeting can be arranged.
Step 3: Application and Testing
Following a visit to the school (or online virtual tour), you will asked to submit a formal application.
You will be asked to submit the following documents as part of the application:
- Copy of passport or ID
- Copy of Swiss Residence Permit (for non-Swiss Nationals applying as a day pupil)
- Previous two years of academic records in English, if you are seeking admissions for a child in Year 1 or higher
- Immunisation records
- Passport photograph
Finally, you will need to request that a teacher from your child's current school completes the Teacher Recommendation Form.
For Applications to Years 6 – 13
Once the application has been completed and documentation verified, the pupil will be invited to sit the English Placement Test and Cognitive Ability Test (CAT). This is usually completed online. Please note, any alternative arrangements will be offered at the discretion of school leadership.
Step 4: Final Decision
The admissions committee reviews all applications once they are completed and a decision is made. When your child is offered a place at St. George’s International School, you will receive:
- An acceptance letter
- An enrolment agreement
- An invoice for the entrance fee
