About the Early Learning School

At the start of this school year we had the pleasure to announce the extension of our Early Years childcare provision in our beautiful Chalet here at St. George’s, with the opening of a new Early Learning School for children of nursery age.

Nursery education is one of the hallmarks of Inspired’s expertise with highly successful Early Learning Schools in Australia, South Africa and the UK. It is this experience and expertise that we are now introducing at St George’s from next September. High quality early education has an enormous beneficial influence on a child’s later progress at both junior and secondary school, so it is our responsibility to provide the best start we can for all our youngest learners at St George’s.

Highly-qualified French speaking bilingual educators, fully trained in nursery education - and particularly in the Reggio-Emilia inspired approach to early learning which operates so successfully in our other schools - is located in spacious and specially-designed rooms on the ground floor, with easy access to a new outdoor age-appropriate play area.

Our new Early Learning School naturally offers you an ideal stepping stone for your child to move on to our outstanding bilingual Foundation Stage classes.

 

 

 

The Early Learning School:

  • It is open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday with a minimum enrolment of two half days per week.
  • Meals are included for children who are here at lunch time.
  • The school will be closed only on Swiss public holidays, one week in Christmas and during the month of August.
